Five German footballers quarantined due to coronavirus

Five German national team players have quarantined due to close contact with a teammate infected with coronavirus, according to the website of the German Football Association.

The names of the five quarantined players have not been disclosed.

According to Bild, FC Bayern defender Niklas Süle passed a positive test for coronavirus. Another footballer of the Munich club, Josua Kimmich, is to go to isolation from the contact group.

The rest of the players and the coaching staff of the Bundesteam have passed negative tests for coronavirus and are preparing for the upcoming qualifying matches against the teams of Liechtenstein (November 11) and Armenia (November 14).
