Space Adventures told about plans for a tourist flyby of the Moon

Space Adventures continues to consider the possibility of providing services to fly around the moon on the Soyuz spacecraft, Sergei Kostenko, head of the Russian office of the space tourism operator Space Adventures, told reporters.

According to him, revision of the Soyuz spacecraft, an upper stage to send it to the Moon, as well as two rocket launches – one with the Soyuz and the other with the upper stage, will be required. “Soyuz itself does not have the resource to fly to the Moon,” Kostenko said.
